Create Samathuva Grave Yard in all villages-demands TNUEF State Committee Meet at Courtallam

The State Committee meeting of Tamilnadu Untouchability Eradication Front,held at Courtallam on July 25th and 26th gave a clarion call for struggle to press the Government of Tamilnadu to create Samathuva Mayanam in all villages.
The state Committee meeting was presided over by P.Sampath(President).S.Samuelraj(Genl.Secretary) placed reports of past activities and a review report on the State Conference of TNUEF held at Pudukkottai for discussion.The struggle for Uthapuram issue and Nandanar issues were reviewed.Information was also shared in respect of other issues of dalits for which the district committees of TNUEF launched struggles. The following decisions were taken at the state committee meeting

1. to demand the Government for creation of electric grave yard at all Towns and Samathuva Grave Yard at village level.There will be demonstration in all district Head Quarters on this issue on Sep,9
2. Stale Level conference on restoration of Panchamer Land to be conducted at Chengleput on Sep,30.
3. to carry forward the struggles for the cause of Uthapuram dalit people
4. to take the issue of Nandanar to the people of Cuddalore district at the gross root level and to conduct street corner meetings, convention and dharna .District level conventions/seminars also to be organised. Again a powerful temple entry struggle involving thousands of people to be launched in future.
5. State level Conference on Dalit christian for their inclusion in SC list to be conducted
6. to start Dr.Ambedkar Legal Aid Cenres at Madurai and Chennai like that of in Kovai
7. a sub committee to be formed to go into the issues of funds allotment and its utilisation under various SCSP
8. to revoke the suspension of Sri Uma Sankar IAS inflicted as a measure of victimisation

M/s A.Laser,P.Shanmugam, Jakkaiyan,S.K.Mahendran are some of the notable functionaries attending the state committee meeting.The meeting concluded with the cultural programme conducted by Dalit Subbiah of Pondichery
